Abstract: This paper presents a detailed account of the development strategy, production process, and performance characteristics of denim fabric dyed with bio-based dyes. By dyeing pure cotton denim yarns with bio-based dyes and integrating tailored weaving and finishing processes, an eco-friendly, functional denim fabric was developed. The results demonstrate that the fabric exhibits excellent dyeing performance,superior color fastness, outstanding antibacterial properties, and strong environmental credentials. This work offers a practical, replicable technical approach and valuable industry experience to support the green transformation of the denim fabric sector.
