Abstract: Cationic modified microporous polyester possesses a unique micro-morphological structure,which endows it with excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying functionality. This paper investigates the disperse dyeing characteristics of this fiber. The results indicate that the dye uptake of disperse dyes on cationic modified microporous polyester increases with rising dyeing temperature, and the suitable dyeing temperature is 100 ℃; the dye uptake improves with prolonged dyeing time, and the suitable dyeing time is 40 min; as the pH value of the dye liquor increases, the dye uptake first increases and then decreases, and the suitable pH range is 5-6. The relevant results provide theoretical references for the dyeing production practice of cationic modified microporous polyester.
