Abstract: Due to significant changes in the global climate, the low-carbon economy has become a primary focus for the international development efforts. China has actively engaged in global climate initiatives and is dedicated to achieving carbon peaking and neutrality goals. In this context, it is crucial for the home textile industry to develop a comprehensive carbon footprint standard system to encourage green transformation and sustainable growth. This paper reviews the current state of low-carbon standards in the home textile sector, summarizes the challenges in calculating the carbon footprint, and provides relevant recommendations.
