Abstract: Flame-retardant finishing was carried out on cotton/nylon blended fabrics using Proban technology. The effects of flame retardant concentration, moisture regain, ammonia flow rate, and hydrogen peroxide concentration on flame retardancy were investigated. The optimal process parameters were determined as follows: flame retardant at 460 g/L, moisture regain of 12%-16%, ammonia flow rate of 55 m³/h, and hydrogen peroxide concentration of 65 g/L. Under these conditions, the treated fabric met the Grade B requirements of GB 8965.1—2020 “Protective clothing — Flame retardant protective clothing”, providing a practical reference for industrial flame retardant finishing of cotton/nylon blended fabrics.
