Abstract: High-performance fibers, relevant composite materials, and functional fibers are crucial for developing marine resources and managing marine environments. This paper primarily discusses the application development of fiber materials in these areas, including separation membrane materials for seawater desalination, seawater adsorption materials, fiber materials for ocean energy power generation devices (platforms), materials for nuclear wastewater treatment, fiber materials for marine aquaculture, and high-performance structural materials for marine engineering. Due to space limitations, fiber materials for surface vessels, floating islands, unmanned surface vessels, military unmanned submersibles, mines, ship mooring lines, and other areas are not covered.
