Abstract: Lyocell fiber, a comfortable and environmentally friendly green fiber, is still in the early stages of being widely used. The domestic demand for it is rising, while the proportion of imports remains high. The article examines the pros and cons of patent protection for domestic leading enterprises in the Lyocell fiber industry. It does so by analyzing their technology research and development, patent applications, technology competition, patent strategy, and product output. The article also offers strategic recommendations to key enterprises in the field, helping them navigate intellectual property protection in a competitive trade environment.
