Abstract: With the increased consumption levels, consumers put forward more diversified requirements for products. To improve product quality and drive market consumption, the research and development of denim fabrics has always been innovative while also retaining the retro style. By using Gracell® fiber to develop soft retro denim fabrics, the paper carries out research on the raw material characteristics, product design, yarn blending ratio, quality control, improvement of sizing and dyeing process, weaving process,and optimization of finishing process. In doing so, the expected effect of denim fabric development can be ultimately achieved.
