The Functional Design of Fabrics in Competition-type Skiwear from the Perspective of Patents

Abstract: The holding of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will promote ice and snow sports in China. Speeding up the development of the ice and snow industry and supporting enterprises to develop relevant products with high technology content and independent intellectual property rights are the top priorities for China to build into a country strong on sports. From the perspective of patents, taking the functional design of fabrics in competition-type skiwear as the study subjects, the paper analyzes related global patents in fields of windproof and warmth, waterproof, breathability, and wear-resisting. Through in-depth research on the development of functional technologies and key fields of patent application, the paper concludes the key technical problems faced by competition-type skiwear, providing technical references for the future development and production of skiwear in China.
