Abstract: This paper studies the influencing factors in the PVC membranes peeling strength of finished luggage leather. The results show that the important influencing factors include the hydrophilicity and the structural specification of the base cloth, PVC membrane, the viscosity and the amount of coating of the waterbased adhesive. For the same adhesive coating amount, the better the hydrophilicity of the base cloth, the worse the PVC peeling strength; different PVC membranes have different peeling strengths; when the adhesive coating amount increases to a certain value, the peeling strength reaches a fixed maximum value.
