Abstract: The paper briefly introduces the development and mechanism of high-temperature environmental protection filter media, and presents the properties and characteristics of the fibers for conventional and new-type high-temperature filter media. Meanwhile, the paper concludes the R&D status of processing and forming processes, including needling, spunlace, and electrospinning, as well as that of finishing technologies, including coating, film covering, dust removal, and denitrification, and analyzes the existing problems in high-temperature filter media. In the end, it put forward that the key R&D direction of hightemperature filter media in China will be sustainability, compounding, functionalization, differentiation and industrialization.
