Current Development Status and Research Progress of Ice and Snow Sports Apparel and Equipment

Abstract: Modern competitive sports, especially winter events, are not only competition among athletes, but also a demonstration of each country’s scientific and technological innovation ability. Based on ice and snow sports apparel and equipment, this paper analyses the current research at home and aboard comprehensively, and clarifies the performance requirements of training and competition clothing in four dimensions, i.e., speed, protection, warmth, and beauty. In addition, the paper also elaborates the research progress of multieffect coupled drag-reduction fabrics and apparel, protective equipment and warm clothing, so as to provide theoretical and application references for the research and development of ice and snow training and competition clothing in China.
