Abstract: With the improved fashion design of the knitted garment, the color application is becoming more and more diverse. At the same time, electronic color cards and electronic fabrics based on digital and virtual simulation technology are widely used in knitted garment design and development. Colors have certain differences in hue, shade, and saturation due to different applications in electronic or physical color cards, yarns, garment pieces and apparel. In order to understand the color transfer and changes in the knitwear design and development, and give full play to the advantages of digital and virtual simulation technology, by adopting expert interviews, questionnaires and other methods as well as combining with the relevant theories of color science and material science, the paper analyzed the common color difference problems, causes, solutions and suggestions in the knitted garment design and development, and looked forward to the prospect of color design and development of knitted clothing.
