Preparation and Performance of Catalytic Filters for Simultaneous Removal of Dust and Nitrogen Oxides Based on PTFE Felts

Abstract: SCR catalyst and bag filter are the core components of industrial flue gas treatment. Dust and NOx removal filter can realize the coordinated treatment of nitrogen oxides and dust in the field of flue gas treatment. This paper integrated manganese nitrate, cerium nitrate, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) emulsion and deionized water to formulate a precursor impregnation solution in a certain proportion, adding sodium alginate, coupling agent, etc. to enhance the adhesion between the catalyst and the filter material. And the integrated filter material for dust removal and denitration is prepared by one-step or two-step padding-curing methods. Results indicated that when the mass ratio of manganese nitrate/cerium nitrate/PTFE emulsion/deionized water is 250∶125∶30∶200, the pressure of padding roll is 0.1 MPa and the denitration temperature is 180 - 220 ℃, it is the best conditions. Under this condition, the NO degradation rate is over 90%, and the filtration efficiency of particulate (PM2.5) is about 95%. In the treatment of flue gas from industrial kilns, a reasonable arrangement of integrated filter materials for dust removal and denitrification is important, which can make the rational use of resources and energy consumption and achieve the optimal treatment effect.
