Abstract: In order to obtain an epoxy resin composite with excellent tribological property, the paper designed and prepared carbon fiber-epoxy resin composite. The carbon fiber-epoxy resin composite is based on epoxy resin and reinforced and lubricated by carbon fiber. It was found that the material had excellent tribological property. The lowest friction coefficient and wear rate of the composite can reach 0.10 and 1.34×10－4 mm³/(N·m) without lubricant. The tribological property of carbon fiber-epoxy resin composite is related to the epoxy resin lubrication film formed during friction, and to the lubrication and the fracturing and spalling of carbon fibers.
