Abstract: The research on the heat transfer mechanism of the “human body-clothing-environment” system is the theoretical basis for evaluating the thermal comfort of the dressed human body and evaluating the thermal safety of the occupational environment, which is of great significance for ensuring the safety of personnel. As an important research means, CFD numerical simulation can supplement experimental research to a certain extent following experimental research. Starting from the method of establishing the CFD model, this paper introduces the models building of human body, clothing, and environment,discusses the verification parameters of the CFD heat transfer model and related testing methods, and analyzes the application status of CFD method in human heat transfer research. Finally, the current deficiencies and future research trends are proposed from the aspects of CFD model establishment and application. In the future, the establishment of numerical clothing models should be improved. And the dynamic air layer model under clothing should be established based on the dynamic meshing technology.In the end, establish the standard evaluation for the verification of the CFD model.
