Abstract: In order to expand the application of polyimide fiber in the field of thermal insulation textiles for civil use, polyimide fiber, viscose and acrylic fiber blended fabrics were designed. After optimizing the spinning process parameters, the thermal performance of fabrics with different polyimide fiber content was tested. Results indicated that the thermal performance of the polyimide fiber/viscose/acrylic fiber blended fabrics goes better with the increase of the polyimide fiber content. And when the polyimide fiber content exceeds 40%, the thermal performance of the polyimide fiber blended fabrics increases significantly. The addition of polyimide fiber can improve the thermal performance of the fabric, which has important guiding significance for the design and development of civil-use thermal insulation textiles.
