Abstract: In the face of water shortages, large water consumption in the printing and dyeing industry, and large sewage discharges, it is inevitable to develop less-water and anhydrous dyeing and finishing technologies. The paper mainly introduces the research progress and industrial application prospects of lesswater and anhydrous dyeing technologies for textiles, including short liquor ratio dyeing, low liquor foam technology, supercritical CO2 dyeing, solvent dyeing, structural colors, etc., so as to provide a reference for the development and application of less-water and anhydrous dyeing technologies in the enterprises, realizing green and sustainable development.
