Abstract: Antiviral textiles can curb the spread of the virus to a certain extent. In this paper, antiviral polyamide 6 FDY was prepared by adding polyamide 6 masterbatch containing mesoporous titanium dioxide with silver nanoparticles loaded on the surface. The antiviral activity of the fiber and the effect of different addition amounts of antiviral masterbatch on fiber performance were studied. Results showed that the addition of antiviral masterbatch endows the fiber antiviral activity, but it will cause decreased relative molecular mass, broaden molecular weight distribution and weaker mechanical properties of polyamide 6, causing weaker spinnability and the unevenness of the yarn. It has little effect on the uniformity of dyeing and can improve the shrinkage of fibers in boiling water. When 4% antiviral masterbatch is added, the antiviral activity of antiviral polyamide 6 FDY reaches 99.97%, its physical properties can meet the use requirements and has a good spinning condition.
