Effect of Speed Change of Taker-in on Yarn Evenness Under Different Speed Ratios Between Cylinder and Taker-in

2020年8月11日

Abstract: The influence of the speed ratio of cylinder and taker-in on the quality of textile strands is studied. Nine speeds of taker-in were used for testing, the cylinder speed was adjusted at each taker-in speed, and the yarn evenness comparison test was performed when the speed ratios between cylinder and taker-in were 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5. Results show that: (1) no matter what speed ratios between cylinder and taker-in are, when the taker-in speed is 600 r/min, it is beneficial to the improvement of yarn quality. (2) when the speed ratio between cylinder and taker-in is relatively low, both too fast and too slow taker-in speed will have a greater impact on the quality of the yarn. And when the taker-in speed reached 500 r/min is the most unfavorable factor for the quality of the yarn. (3) when the taker-in speed is less than 750 r/min, the speed ratios between cylinder and taker-in reached 2.5 is beneficial to improve yarn quality; when the taker-in speed is between 800 ~ 850 r/min, the speed ratios between cylinder and taker-in reached 2.0 is good for yarn evenness. However, there is a general trend of an increase in the speed ratio between cylinder and taker-in. (4) the taker-in speed should not be too fast, when its speed exceeds 900 r/min, it will deliver a blow to the yarn quality.
