According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods reached 4.39 trillion yuan in November 2025, marking a 1.3% year-on-year increase. The cumulative total for the January-November period reached 45.61 trillion yuan, up 4% year-on-year.

In November 2025, the retail sales of apparel, footwear, headwear, textiles, and knitwear by enterprises above designated size reached 154.16 billion yuan, up 3.5% year-on-year. The cumulative total for the January-November period last year amounted to 1.36 trillion yuan, rising by 3.5% year-on-year.

In November alone, retail sales of apparel by enterprises above designated size were 115.76 billion yuan, up 4.5% year-on-year. Cumulative retail sales of apparel from January to November last year totaled 980.95 billion yuan, increasing by 3.1% year-on-year.
