Abstract: Polyester/cotton fabric is suitable for making all kinds of clothing due to its advantages such as stiff touch, abrasion resistance, durability, dimensional stability, easy to wash and quick-drying, etc. At present, most of the polyester/cotton printing fabrics sold on the market are printed with pigment.

Although the pigment printing process is simple and low-cost, the handle of its product is hard, its color fastness is poor, and it is easy to clog the screens during the printing process. In this paper, the printing of polyester/cotton fabric with disperse/vat dyes and disperse/reactive dyes by one paste are introduced.

Thereinto, disperse/reactive dyes in one paste has the advantages of the complete chromatogram, bright color, and good hand feeling, which can solve the problems of hard hand feeling and poor fastness caused by large or all-over printing in pigment printing.
