Abstract: Knitting stress sensor is a kind of textile material with electrical conductivity. When it is used as a garment fabric, it can deform significantly with human body movement and convert the fabric deformation into an electrical signal. The garment is prepared by using the knitted stress sensor which can be used for daily human body non-inductive monitoring. This article summarizes the research of knitted flexible sensors in terms of the sensing mechanism, preparation method and sensing performance of knitted stress sensors,and discusses the main problems of current knitted stress sensors about conductive yarn, mechanical model and performance parameter design. The applications of knitting stress sensor in human physiological signal monitoring and movement recognition was expounded, and the development trend of knitting stress sensor in the future is predicted through previous research.
