Abstract: The paper introduces the situation and technical characteristics of knitting equipment presented at ITMA 2019. It is concluded that the new technology highlights and hotspots of knitting machinery in this exhibition are short-flow knitting production, full-fashioned knitting technology, shogging control system, 4D jacquard technology, intelligent sensor technology and Internet application technology, and pointed out that Germany and Japan knitting equipment are still at the leading position in terms of manufacturing precision, structural advancement, operational reliability and intelligent sensing. While the equipment manufacturing technology of Chinese products, especially the intelligent control technology, has reached a certain level, with strong cost performance and competitiveness.
