Abstract: The paper introduces the technical characteristics and application of JWF1213 carding machine. Taking the production practice of cotton carded yarn, cotton combed yarn and polyester yarn as examples, the paper discusses the cotton assorting and process setting, and testes and analyzes the quality indexes of mat, card strip and yarn. Results indicated that both the removal rate of nep and impurity removal rate of the sliver on JWF1213 carding machine reach a high level. The CV value and the unevenness of the weight are within the quality control range of the customer, which can meet the requirements of the textile mill on high quality, high yield, labor saving and profit maximizing.
