Abstract: Based on the specific insulation mechanism of the down jacket and the factors affecting its thermal insulation performance, the current evaluation methods and evaluation conditions of the thermal insulation performance of the down jacket are analyzed. From the three aspects, i.e., down, fabric system and down garments, the paper points out the limitations of current evaluation methods and conditions of thermal insulation performance of down jacket, looks forward the future research direction of insulation performance of down jacket, and provides a reference for the formulation of the scientific, systematic and comprehensive evaluation system for down jacket.
