Abstract: The embroidery is an important decorative technique in fashion design. Computer embroidery is used in most embroidery works for its high efficiency and low cost. However, with the increasing popularity of clothing customization, the traditional hand-push embroidery has re-emerged. The paper compared the embroidery effect of hand-push embroidery and computer embroidery when producing the same pattern. While demonstrating their respective advantages, the paper also explored the differences between these two embroidery methods, stitch application and external performance, so as to provide a reference for fashion designers to choose a more suitable embroidery method when designing embroidery works.
