Abstract: In order to reduce or control WF2 weft stop in air-jet looms, this paper analyses the influencing factors of WF2 weft stop, explores the possible causes of WF2 weft stop based on various phenomena of WF2 weft stop, and looks over the electromagnetic needle, circle probe, weft shear, main nozzle, auxiliary nozzle, weft detector and weft quality. By repairing the problems of the weaving machine, replacing the weft yarns, strengthening the equipment management, and strictly controlling the quality of the weft yarns, WF2 weft stop can be reduced or controlled within a reasonable range to achieve the purpose of improving the weaving efficiency.
