Abstract: This paper carried out a comprehensive conclusion of the properties of surfactin produced by Bacillus subtilis and its applications, and analyzed its application prospect in the textile industry. The pre-treatment, dyeing and finishing processes of the textile industry require a large number of surfactants to reduce energy consumption, and improve the quality of the finished products. Surfactin produced by Bacillus subtilis is of excellent surface activity, high emulsibility at high temperature and strong alkali conditions, and antibacterial properties, which makes it has a great application prospect in the processing of textiles.
