Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the existing fiber web detection method can not detect the uniformity of the hybrid fiber web well, the paper took organic fiber and inorganic fiber as experimental materials, and these two kinds of fibers were mixed, opened, and carded into a fiber web. The image of the fiber web was collected by CCD camera and transmitted to the computer terminal. And the target fiber was extracted by a stochastic resonance image processing method and image recognition technology, and quantized it by pixels, thus, the uniformity of the hybrid fiber web can be characterized by pixel distribution characteristics. The experimental results showed that the uniformity of hybrid fiber web calculated by image processing is consistent with the results obtained by the traditional weighing calculation CV method, which proves the accuracy and efficiency of the image processing method.
