Abstract: Beijing has rich cultural deposits, a huge potential consumer market and good industrial support to develop textile and apparel industry. In recent years, the textile and apparel industry has made considerable progress in cultural heritage, scientific and technological innovation, and international exchanges. It has achieved remarkable success in industrial agglomeration, transformation and upgrading, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaboration. Under the good momentum of development, how to break the bottleneck of talents, brands and discourse rights has become the top priority. This paper analyzes the development foundation, status, trends and existing problems of Beijing’s textile and apparel industry, and proposes related suggestions.
