Abstract: This paper analyzes the advantages of air-jet vortex spinning technology and its drawbacks in production. In order to avoid homogeneous competition and expand its application fields in the downstream, air-jet vortex spinning enterprises must accelerate product structure adjustment, and develop various newtype functional air jet vortex-spun yarns, so as to occupy the market with high value-added products. Based on the case study of eight new-type yarns developed by domestic air-jet vortex spinning enterprises through technology and process innovation in the past few years, the paper carried out a comprehensive study on their performance characteristics, application, and related technologies in production.
