Abstract: EVOH/SiO₂ Li-ion battery composite fiber membranes were prepared by the electrospinning polyethylene-vinyl alcohol(EVOH) which was doped with different weight percentage of silicon dioxide (SiO₂) nanoparticles. The results indicate that when the concentration of EVOH and SiO₂ dopant of spinning solution is 18% and 2% respectively, the film shows the best integrity and microstructure with good absorbency and mechanical property. The results of DSC and TG prove that the prepared battery separator has good thermal stability.
