Abstract: The mechanism of air-jet vortex spinning was analyzed in this paper, illuminating the similarities and differences compared with rotor spinning. And then, five key technology points for the process control of air-jet vortex spinning, including the parallel straightness of sliver, the splittable effect of open-end fiber from the sliver in twist chanmber, droppings rate, self-twist effect, the control of yarn weak twisting, as well as their research progress were elaborated, providing some solutions for the process and quality control of high-quality air-jet vortex-spun yarn.
