Abstract: This paper first analyzes the research status of weft-knitted mattress fabrics. Although the proportion of weft-knitted mattress fabrics in the market has been increasing steadily, the simple and similar patterns of knitted fabrics have limited its further development. Three kinds of weft-knitted double-faced jacquard mattress fabrics were designed and developed by using Paint Knit MDS1 pattern design software and OVJA1.6EE double-faced jacquard circular weft knitting machine, i.e., mattress fabrics in jacquard airlayer structure, mattress fabrics with independent patterns and mattress fabrics with continuous patterns. This paper introduces the pattern design and process design of the mattress fabrics and studies the possibility of pattern changes. The finished mattress fabrics have beautiful patterns, strong sculptured effect and soft hand, which can provide reference for the further development of weft-knitted jacquard mattress fabrics.
