Abstract: In order to develop towels for infants and young children, a single-sided terry towel in doublelayer structure was produced by using low-tex pure cotton yarn and stitching double weave design. The paper introduced the ideas and process of product design and described the technical parameters and necessary technical measures taken in the key steps of the production process, including winding, warping, sizing, and weaving. The products were tested and proved to be in line with national health and ecological safety standards on textile products for infants and young children.
