Abstract: The article introduced the key technical points of spinning acrylic/wool blended heather yarn by using air-jet vortex spinning technology: attach importance to the selection and combination of raw materials; do a good preparation job such as sampling, color matching and color assessment; in batch production, do a good job in raw material blending and color mixing; and optimize process design of each process stage, so as to ensure optimal quality of the resulted yarn. It also analyzed the key points of quality control in the production of acrylic/wool blended yarn: before production, do a good job in pre-treatment and blending of the dyed fibers; during production, strengthen management of production site to prevent yarn defect from happening; take strict control over ambient temperature and humidity of workshop to reduce production instability.
