Abstract: In this article, the latest research achievements of polyester industry both at home abroad are reviewed from the angles of polyester raw materials, technological innovation and application fields.Based on analyzing the market situation of paraxylene, pure terephthalic acid (PTA) and polyester, it points out some problems existing in polyester industry and that realizing PX-PTA-PET integration, developing functional products and transforming equipment with intelligent technology will be the main direction of future development of polyester industry.
