Abstract: The paper introduces some innovative yarn developed with air jet vortex spinning process and their extended applications. It also discusses several techniques adopted during developing air jet vortex spun-yarn products, such as enhancing the strength of air jet vortex-spun yarn, improving the softness of the air jet vortex-spun yarn and fabric and finishing the fabric with flame-retardant agent.
