Abstract: During the production of polyurethane fiber, N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAC)is used as organic solvent to facilitate the polymerization of raw materials polytetramethylene ether glycol(PTMEG) and diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI). Due to some reasons such as design and structural defects of equipment, odorous organic gas is emitted into the atmosphere of workshop, which will affect not only the working efficiency and health of workers in the workshop, but also the environment of plant site and neighboring areas. The paper elaborates the waste gas treatment technology for polyurethane fiber spinning process. After treatment, the environment of workshop, plant site and neighboring areas can be significantly improved.
