Abstract: Super-hydrophobic textile materials have the functions of waterproof, anti-fouling and selfcleaning and so on. They can be widely used in industrial tarpaulins, medical materials, protective clothing and self-cleaning materials, and become one of the hot spots of the current functional textile materials. Bionic technology has opened up new research ideas for superhydrophobic studies. By studying the superhydrophobic phenomena of organisms in nature, researchers have found that superhydrophobic materials can be obtained by constructing rough surfaces and covering low surface energy substances.

This paper introduces the application and research progress of biomimetic technology in the development of superhydrophobic textiles in recent years, and provides reference for the research and development of superhydrophobic textile.
