Abstract: Based on the practice of hand printing & dyeing and digital printing in scarf design, this paper conducted a comparative study from the perspectives of pattern design, technological characteristics, process and visual effects of the products. This paper suggested scarf designer combine the artistry and technicality, and integrate traditional Chinese culture and the innovative graphic pattern, and display the diverse artistic features of hand printing & dyeing and digital printing fully in product design, in order to meet the aesthetic needs of modern people.
