Abstract: To overcome the shortcomings of traditional shedding mechanism, a design of control system for shedding mechanism driven by servo electric cylinder is proposed, in which the rectilinear motion control of heald frame is replaced by the rectilinear motion control of electric cylinder. By analyzing the kinematic relationship between servo electric cylinder and heald frame, the transfer coefficient of the control system is obtained. The feasibility of the design is proved by simulation analysis. It is proved that this innovative control system can increase the response speed and control precision of shedding motion and realize full automation of shedding motion.
