Abstract: The ramie fabric scratchiness has seriously limited the development of ramie in apparel field. This review introduced the methods of eliminating scratchiness in three aspects, including mechanical methods,chemical methods and biochemistry methods. In addition, principle and characteristics of these methods were compared and summarized.
