Abstract: The paper introduced main varieties, characteristics and applications of the colored spun yarns developed by Weida Group over the past few years. It points out that when using rotor-spinning and airjet vertex spinning technologies to develop colored spun yarn, it is necessary to make innovation in the choice of raw materials, process optimization and on-site management in accordance with the changed properties of the fibers after dyeing and the production characteristics of colored spun yarn such as small lot, diversified varieties and quick product change, so as to ensure the yarn quality meeting the requirements for manufacturing high-end apparel fabric.
