Abstract: Deep integration of knitting technologies with Internet technologies is a significant developing tendency of knitting industry. Internet knitting technologies consist of Internet knitting CAD system, Internet knitting CAM system and Internet knitting MES system, which are comprehensive solutions for information technology of knitting industry. In this paper, an overview about these three systems of Internet knitting technology was made. Then, it focused on the key technologies applied to the Internet knitting technologies as well as the main functions of the three systems. The application of Internet knitting technologies would be conducive to promoting transformation and updating of knitting industry.
