Abstract: Based on document retrieval, field research and sample analysis, the paper analyzes and sums up the characteristics of Chinese traditional batik patterns and probes into the application of these patterns in apparel. The research of batik patterns not only makes valuable search for the way of protecting batik art, but also offers theoretical reference to the rational application of batik pattern in apparel.
