Abstract: By introducing the main designing elements such as style, decoration, fabric and color of “new Chinese-style outfits”, the paper compares them with traditional Chinese costumes and analyzes their inheritance of traditional costume culture and innovative design and commends them for both their cultural implications and their compliance with modern aesthetic taste.
