Abstract: The paper first points out the developments of double needle bar warp knitting technology in China in terms of advanced precise machine technology, digital production technology, fashioned processing and three-dimensional fabric structure. Then it introduces ten categories of the latest doubleneedle bar knitted products for three application fields: clothing, decoration and industry. It elaborates the product innovation brought by the development of double needle bar warp-knitting technology. After that it puts forward the future development direction of intelligent and green double needle bar production and personalized, functional and intelligent double needle bar products. Finally it points out that double needle bar warp-knitting technology needs to further discover its potential, integrate with other modern technologies and provide future-oriented innovative products.
