With the new HKS 4-S EL, KARL MAYER is introducing an innovation to the market that impresses in two ways: with outstanding speed and maximum flexibility.
This high-performance tricot machine for elastic and rigid applications has undergone fundamental technological advancements and is now entering the fray as a frontrunner. With a speed of 2,500 rpm, the machine is currently the world’s fastest four-bar short-stroke machine in the WARP KNIT sector. This high speed provides a production advantage that is further enhanced by a maximal working width of 280" – optionally expandable by an additional 10".

HKS 4-S EL
A machine with all-around capabilities
The HKS 4-S EL also sets new standards in terms of versatility. Well-designed features, such as a fabric take-up with height-adjustable positioning and EL pattern drive, enable a wide range of product variations and quick pattern changes. This allows for the efficient production of high-quality, high-density, compact performance warp knits as well as mesh-like fabrics such as Powernet-style items, catering to a variety of use cases.

The fabrics produced on the HKS 4-S EL are ideally suited for applications such as sportswear, home textiles, and apparel in general.

The machine is available in gauges E 28, E 32 and E 36 and with a working width of 130", 180", 210" or 280". All four ground bars are stitch forming and operate with a 2" shog.
