According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to July, the retail sales of social consumer goods totaled CNY 26.43 trillion, seeing year-on-year growth of 7.3%. In July alone, the retail sales of social consumer goods reached CNY 3.67 trillion, up by 2.5% year-on-year.

By consumption types, from January to July, the retail sales of clothing, foot & head wear and knitted goods amounted to CNY 777.6 billion, growing by 11.4% year-on-year. In July alone, the retail sales were CNY 96.1 billion, up by 2.3% year-on-year.
